How Aaron P. Jones's personal-use publishing tool accesses and handles YouTube data for The Last Mile.
Last updated September 23, 2026
Who and what this covers
AXIOM Episode Publisher is a private workflow operated by Aaron P. Jones for his YouTube channel, The Last Mile. It is not offered as a service to other users.
Google information accessed
With Aaron's authorization, the tool requests youtube.upload to upload and schedule an approved episode and youtube.readonly to identify the connected channel and read the uploaded video back. The read-back checks the video's channel, title, private status, and scheduled publish time.
The workflow does not use YouTube comments, viewer personal information, advertising data, or analytics.
Why the information is used
Google data is used to confirm the connection to The Last Mile, perform an upload after approval of the exact episode package, and verify the scheduled result. The publishing gate checks the approval, package identity, destination channel, and release settings before upload. A successful receipt is written only after YouTube's read-back matches the expected result.
Storage and sharing
The OAuth client file and token are stored locally on Aaron's Mac with owner-only file permissions. Local audit records contain episode package details, file hashes, and publication outcomes. The workflow does not put Google data in a hosted database or use it for advertising or unrelated services. It does not sell or rent Google data.
Retention and control
The local OAuth token remains until Aaron revokes the Google connection or removes the local token file. Local audit records remain until Aaron removes them. Aaron can revoke access through his Google Account's third-party connections and can remove the local OAuth files.
Security
The workflow checks that OAuth files have owner-only permissions and verifies the connected channel before release. Access tokens and client secrets are not included in publication receipts.
Changes and contact
This page will be updated if the workflow's Google data access or use changes materially. Questions about this policy can be sent to aaronpjones007@gmail.com.
